Featured Network Update

OK...we are in the final stages of testing and initially have gotten very good feedback.  In primetime last night, over 7,000 unique listeners came through 1 hr shows with a high percentage clicking through to the interactive player.

We are randomly putting user shows in the network to test functionality and load throughout the day...so this is what I need for us to grab your shows and put them in:

1. Schedule your show so we know its coming up and we can put it into the grid to be featured
2. We want shows with Video as the player is a video window and that will drive more people to view it and click to interact
3. Well produced shows will be showcased...do more then chat with friends :)
4. For the FEATURED NETWORK, we want the inital shows to be PG rated as we go out to grab sponsors and new syndication partners (other Networks we will offer will have different ratings, but for this intial test we need it PG so we do not get blocked from large providers where they are being embedded).
5. Embed the widget: you can grab embed code off the homepage widget (don't forget the myspace embed is different so use the Myspace icon to get that code)

This is only the beginning so please work with us to make this a great tool to separate NowLive and our broadcasters from the rest of UG content.  Once the Network technology is in place, then the second piece of revenue sharing will be implemented.

Even though Tomorrow Will Be Televised is audio only, I would like to get the Featured Network time period for Monday afternoon 3 p.m.=4 p.m. ET/noon-1 p.m., Pacific Time. The show is G-rated, has top TV industry guests booked through mid-February (with more on the way) and we have a coup for our next episode this Monday: Writers Guild of America East president Michael Winship, one of the key people involved with the writers strike. If a deal between the Directors Guild of America and the film/TV producers alliance breaks this weekend or Monday (as some insiders expect), our show will get one of the first public reactions from Winship.
FYI--if you've been listening to Tomorrow, we are one of the few NowLive shows that promote other shows and special events on the site (usually at the bottom of the hour, through the "Web Identification" break). As part of the Featured Network, the practice would continue, and expand to recognize other Web sites or parties that affiliate with the network.

FYI, ever since u updated the profiles, i cant do a show. When i start it, no one can hear me, but when i download the podcast and play it back, i hear everything that i did. WHY? some ppl are able to still do shows, but alot cant. all my connections are good, but between the profiles and that flash player, nothing is working right now. even on facebook.

[WTF Radio (WHAT THE FLUXX RADIO)]

Hey there Big Dog. I am one of the producers of WTF Radio and I would like for our show to be one of the featured shows on the nrtwork. We havepm a different model every week that we feature in our spokesmodel competition. We talk about a various topics. Now our show is a little pg-13 but if tailoring it to PG we will do so. Check us out on Mondays from 9pm est/ 6 pm pst. We also on our show feature a unsigned artist as well is an unknown comedian every week. We plan on having contest and give-aways each week. Check us out we will take whatever time slot is available. Fell free to give us advice on how we could best taylor our show to PG.
