A few changes on the site to update you on if you haven't noticed already. First, the chat has changed up a little bit. As the host, you are now able to make your friends moderators in your shows. Be cautious as to who you choose though, moderators are now able to block people from your room. You can have as many moderators as you'd like, but it would be silly so make everyone a moderator and have people abuse their new powers and you suddenly have no one in your show. Keep that in mind. Also, please do NOT contact us about unblocking your friends from your show. You need to wait out the chatbans because we are giving you the power to control more of your show and that includes moderators and chatbans. Eventually the bans will timeout after 24 hours, so make sure they deserve it if you use it.
With this new power enabled in your show, this brings me to the overwhelming requests to be admins for the site. STOP ASKING. We have given you the moderator option for your show to set your own "admins" in your show. When the show is over, they will no longer be moderators. There is no more need for more site admins right now, and asking me will be the quickest way to not become one. If I make all of you admins, what's the point of having any? You may not like who I choose as one, but that's not up to you. Please stop asking me to make you an admin, there are more important issues with the site that I need to work on, and that's not one of them. Sorry!
Ticker and widget. If you want to be on the ticker or widget, it is important that you SCHEDULE your show. Go to your profile, click on "broadcast" at the top tabs, and then click on "schedule a broadcast". If you have any special requests for the ticker and widget, email Melissa@nowmediacorp.com and she will help you out. You need to have a video if you'd like to be on the widget. We need people to see the widgets and you as you're doing your show, so please be understanding if we don't put you on because you don't have one.
New things to look for in the future, NETWORKS. They will be coming very soon and we will keep you up to date on how you can participate and even start your own network. Keep an eye out for this and I will let you know when it is available. Also, on FLASH shows, we are currently enabling recording for both audio and video. We are in the process of building tools for you to be able to play your show rebroadcasts and even put your show on Youtube. Keep an eye out for this aswell.
We have a lot in store for the site, and I'm sure you will like the changes. Please make sure to come and support our live shows and premieres on the site. Also, go say hi to the new shows and make them feel at home. You were new once too!

AWESOME BD!! I've been super busy with work and haven't had a chance to be on the site as often as I like, but I am super excited to hear that we can now appoint our own "admins" in our own shows. I know that was an idea that had been kicked around for a while...really look forward to implementing it, myself.
Things just keep getting better!

I think this will improve the site in a way that will make shows more entertaining. I think the youtube feature is a wonderful Idea as well. This will help our current network as well as the networks to come...

Thank you for the news about upcoming networks. It's my intention that Tomorrow Will Be Televised, the weekly Internet radio program covering TV developments and issues, will be distributed over at least one of those networks. After nearly a year on NowLive, as the only program of its kind running on radio, TV or the Web, Tomorrow has a track record of quality content, and is capable of drawing a quality audience given the best shot possible. The best for both our show and NowLive, a great home for the pioneering social broadcasting medium, is truly yet to come--and will!
